At Penman Consulting, we support the use of New Approach Methods (NAMs) for Chemical Safety Testing. I am pleased to announce our new paper on Peira LLBO 180 by Dr. An Van Rompay, Senior Toxicologist ERT.
The new paper is called “Laser Light-Based Opacitometer ‘Peira LLBO 180’: A new and validated opacitometer for use in the Bovine Corneal Opacity and Permeability (BCOP) eye irritation test method”.
It is part of a Special issue: New Approach Methodologies in toxicology included in the RE-Place database. In this special issue, the protocols/method descriptions of some of the most promising NAMs for toxicology are included. The RE-Place database is publicly accessible via www.RE-Place.be, and already contains about 100 methods.
