Susan joined Penman Consulting in 2021 as a Senior Toxicologist with 37 years industry experience working in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and chemical safety sector at Sequani Limited, a non-clinical contract research organization.
She began her career as a Technician within Reproductive Toxicology, gaining an HNC in Applied Biological Sciences. Susan gained experience in both in-life and necropsy, with several years spent as a Senior Technician undertaking all types of foetal pathology examinations on developmental and reproductive toxicology (DART) studies.
Susan also worked as a Study Director for five years, conducting regulatory and GLP-compliant toxicology studies on pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and chemicals, across multiple toxicology disciplines (DART, juvenile toxicology and general toxicology).
For the last 11 years Susan has worked as a Study Scientist, responsible for the preparation and review of toxicology study reports.
