Lorraine joins Penman Consulting as a Technical Projects Manager with 35 years industry experience and knowledge of working in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and chemical safety sector at Sequani Ltd – a pre-clinical CRO.
Her career started as an in-vivo technician supporting both non and regulatory acute, general, pharmacology and reproductive toxicology studies before ending some 20+ years later as the deputy section manager for the in-vivo facilities at Sequani and having attained the Membership status of the Institute of Animal Technicians.
Following this, she remained at Sequani and moved into Business Development where she was an Assistant Programme Manager for several key customers that spanned the Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical and Chemical industry (covering multi-disciplines – DART, EOGRT, Juvenile, short and long term toxicity studies) along with being a key proposal writer.
She was also an active member and Secretary of the Animal Welfare and Ethics Review Board committee at Sequani for many years.
