James graduated with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham in 2014 and subsequently worked within the metal pretreatment industry for over 2 years. He then returned to the University of Birmingham to obtain a master’s degree in Toxicology in 2018, and since then worked in a regulatory capacity within the cosmetics industry and for Syngenta Limited before joining the company in December 2019.
