Carmen holds an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification and completed Business Management studies at the University of the West Indies. She also has 15 years’ experience in a financial service regulated business.
The past six years, Carmen worked as an internal auditor at Arvato Financial Solutions. She facilitated the development and management of the Internal Audit Function; two years of which she oversaw the Internal Audit portfolio for clients within the moto finance services industry. Her primary focus is operational audits, quality management and information security system audits. In the past she acquired experience in a (FCA) regulated customer service environment and worked as a Foreign Purchase Officer for a manufacturing company in Trinidad and Tobago.
Carmen joined Penman Consulting in 2021 and is responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) internal audits. She will also be supporting with business services and improvements.
