We are proud to announce that our UK business, Penman Consulting Limited, has been recognised for its excellence in international trade and subsequently awarded with the first ever King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.
Mike and Sue Penman, the founders of the business, are delighted at the recognition the award brings. “Not just for the company, but for all the staff across the company, past and present. They have worked so hard over so many years to develop and provide first rate services to those involved in the international chemical community.”
The Award is the most prestigious for UK businesses and this is a tremendous achievement. The company wins the King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade Category for Outstanding Short Term Growth in overseas sales over three years.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise was previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, and the new name reflects His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 57th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
