About H4R REACH Consortium

Ensuring safe, compliant, and sustainable market access for Hydrocarbon, Rosin, and Resins.

The H4R REACH Consortium brings together manufacturers and importers of Hydrocarbon Resins, Rosin Resins, and Pine Chemicals Materials to ensure compliance with the EU REACH Regulation. Registration is mandatory for any company producing or importing one tonne or more of these substances per year within the EEA, protecting both public health and the environment.

Since its launch in October 2008, the H4R Consortium has successfully coordinated the registration of 28 substances prior to the 2010 REACH deadline and continues to maintain dossier compliance with REACH and CLP for its members, ensuring safe market access and mitigating legal and financial risk.

Membership

Open, inclusive participation for manufacturers, importers, and data holders across the value chain.

Membership is open to:

  • Any applicant meeting the consortium’s criteria

  • European and non-European manufacturers or importers of Hydrocarbon Resins, Rosin Resins, or Pine Chemicals Materials similar to the substances covered

  • Downstream users and other data holders who wish to actively participate
