To be the industry recognized service provider to the chemical, oil and gas industries on product stewardship and related activities. Understanding regulatory needs and providing companies with both the tools and help to achieve excellence at reasonable cost.

Our History

For over 30 years our principals have provided environmental safety and other services to the largest oil and petrochemical businesses and trade associations. Our services to manufacturers and importers in the chemical and oil industries are based upon business needs and practical experience.

Mike Penman MBE founded Penman Consulting BVBA in Brussels in April 2007. Clients value Mike's experience and expertise, which he gained working for major petrochemical companies then representing the whole petrochemical sector, chairing industry-wide associations. In this capacity he represented the industry as the REACH legislation was drafted. This uniquely-placed company was joined by equally capable employees, experts and strategic partners and quickly grew to its current size.

Since 2007 Penman Consulting has shaped the way the petrochemical and oil industries manage REACH registration. In doing so we have created a new standard in the provision of science and regulatory services, demonstrating the power of modern, bespoke I.T based, project-managed solutions.

Penman Consulting Ltd was formed in the UK in October 2008 to strengthen our product stewardship, project management and data management services to that market.
