With a background in information management, practical experience of company Safety Data Sheet systems, involvement in the development of IUCLID 3, 4 and now version 5 for REACH, Penman Consulting is well placed to help companies understand and develop their IT and data processing needs for regulation.
Mike Penman was part of the Working Group and web developer of the much commended ECETOC Targeted Risk Assessment tool and had first hand involvement in discussions about chemical industry REACH IT needs. Specifically:

  • Development of IT structures to cope with regulatory demands such as REACH and GHS
  • Incorporation of IT tools in company and REACH workflow models
  • IUCLID training for data entry and product stewardship functions
  • Data migration services – IUCLID 4 to IUCLID 5
  • Set up of categories in IUCLID 5
  • IUCLID management and server hosting
